My name is Magdalena D'Souza, but people call me Maggie or Mags. I'm been the secretary of YLGS since May 2005. I haven't been a member of the group from the beginning but came across it in the summer of 2004 and decided that it was something I would like to join....and like they say the rest is history. I had the most amazing time at my first monthly meet-up, I was so impressed by YLGS. Thus, I jumped at the chance to be the secretary and get more involved with YLGS.

A bit more about me...... I'm 24 and a history teacher at a girls grammar school in Cheam. I love teaching, no day is ever the same or without some sort of drama, it's always a challenge and that's what I love. I live in New Malden with my older brother Francis. I am mostly a chilled, smiley, happy person who just likes having fun! In the free time I have I love doing anything from dancing the night away to my favourite RnB songs, visting an exhibition or traveling to interesting and exotic locations. I enjoy movies that make you think about important issues. Denzel Washington is my favourite actor and Malcolm X my favourite film, very powerful!! I have played the flute for 16 years, I find it the best way to relax. I love most sports,(apart from snooker and golf) I guess that's the competitive side of me coming out.
